Milagres is part of the Ecological Route, a 25km stretch of preserved Alagoas coastline known for its clear greenish sea, with warm waters, no waves and with reefs characteristic of the Coral Coast.
The circulation of any motor vehicle on the beaches of São Miguel dos Milagres is prohibited. Municipal Law number 415 of May 2010. The violator will be subject to a fine and seizure of the vehicle.

Therefore, we ask visitors passing through or staying in São Miguel dos Milagres, to avoid using their cars, motorcycles and quadricycles or any nautical vessel (boats or jetski) on the beaches of the municipalities of the Ecological Route, especially in the stretch between Praia do Riacho (São Miguel dos Milagres) and Praia do Boqueirão (Japaratinga). All of them are protected by law.
